I tend to enjoy this American Ale each time I have it. It’s got a great head, a nice deep amber color, and a wonderful aroma. It’s very well-balanced, in my opinion, and the aftertaste is real mellow. It’s a good day beer, and it’s a great one to drink considering the price and the <del>brewer</del> manufacturer! Here and there, though, you can taste the influence of Anheuser, just a bit. Only here and there, though.

As it warms, it loses lots of its zeal. Quickly. The flavors begin to mingle into a strange concoction of hops and Budweiser, as if someone poured bud heavy into my hoppy.

But while it’s cool and fresh, the balance is great! Just the right amount of hops lends to its drinkability (not intended to mirror the crappy football game commercials!), and all in all, it’s a good, recommended beer.
