Fat Tire Amber Ale by New Belgium Brewing

New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale

New Belgium Fat Tire Amber Ale

I find this beer toasty, and well-balanced. It’s yummy, with friendly and refreshing aromas, but if it’s not super fresh, it tastes a lot different and quickly loses most of its zeal.

It’s much better out of a glass, without question. But as I drink it I feel there are almost too many flavors thrown in there, like Jeff got a bit too overzealous with the ingredients.

It’s a nice spring day beer, in my opinion, drinks easily and goes down smoothly.

Overall, I like it, and I’m sure to enjoy it again!

You know, I heard a lot about Flat Tire beers and how wonderful they are. I’ve never had, I would to try it, but a very trustworthy source told it tasted like peanuts and beans or something….I just remember the peanut part. It doesn’t sound appealing. When I consume it myself I will buy one soon and report back.

    Thank You, McHappy

Hhhhmmmm? Typical of a CO beer in body and taste– over rated– its something newly available; hence, all the east coast rage… on a scale from 1-10 I give it a 5.

  3. Fat Tire is one of the only wheat beers I’m able to drink… for some reason they give me a weird feeling in my jaw, kind of like eating a lemon…
