Pouring a perfect black and tan: My Third Attempt

So it's football Sunday, the first season games of the 2008. Aside from listening to the asshole commentators talk about how wonderful Brett Favre is, I'm going to attempt to get this damn black and tan pour right.

I decided to try a regular pint glass today, thinking maybe my last glass was part of the problem.

I began with the same thing, half a glass of Bass. Then I added my Guinness. I poured quite a bit faster this time, hoping to get the umbrella-like cascading flow of the Guinness as it poured over the spoon.

In the end, I think I got it a little closer, but I'm still not sure. It's all because of this damn pint glass; it's got a label that wraps around the whole thing. So I can't tell if they're truly separated.

Round 4 coming soon. I hope to get it right before I run out of ingredients!
