Hi there! I’m Steve, and this is just a blog about my love for beer. I’m a beginning home brewer, brewery tourer, and overall beer connoisseur. I’m by no means an expert, but maybe one day I’ll gather enough knowledge to claim so. I’m not a beer snob, either.

So you won’t find anything here related to beer snob values, IBU ratings, or anything else along those lines. To me, beer is good, and I’m cool with that.

I hope some of my experience helps you out, finds you well, and gives you some great ideas to enjoy great beer even more! 

I’d like to visit every brewery in the country (hell, while I’m aiming high, let’s shoot for the world!) and post my findings on this site. For now, though, I’ll be limited to the area in which I live, Asheville, Western North Carolina and vicinity. Of course, Asheville is a beer heaven, having a high per-capita population of microbreweries and loads of awesome beer fans!
