Budweiser American Ale by Anheuser-Busch
I tend to enjoy this American Ale each time I have it. It’s got a great head, a nice deep amber color, and a wonderful aroma. It’s very well-balanced, in my opinion, and the aftertaste is real mellow. It’s a good day beer, and it’s a great one to drink considering the price and the brewer manufacturer! Here and there, though, you can taste the influence of Anheuser, just a bit. Only here and there, though.
As it warms, it loses lots of its zeal. Quickly. The flavors begin to mingle into a strange concoction of hops and Budweiser, as if someone poured bud heavy into my hoppy.
But while it’s cool and fresh, the balance is great! Just the right amount of hops lends to its drinkability (not intended to mirror the crappy football game commercials!), and all in all, it’s a good, recommended beer.

i am strictly against anything that that Clydesdale piss produces, but I have a home boy, who is a beer connoisseur, that worked at Anheuser-Busch. He said that there is a tasting spicket where you can taste the beer before the “watering down process”. He shared that it is really good before they water it down.

I’ve abhorred the “piss beer” style since I tasted my first brew years ago. Budweiser’s lager is what Americans consider “good session beer,” and I find that disgusting.
However, I saw this on the shelf and couldn’t resist giving it a try. I bought a six-pack. Considering how much I can’t stand the watered-down taste of Budweiser (lager) and Bud Lite, this caught me offguard. It’s what Budweiser should’ve strived to be when prohibition ended.
